Having witnessed firsthand how education transforms lives, I firmly believe in its pivotal role in family, community, and state development. Having coached basketball for two decades, I understand that differences enhance a team’s capabilities as each member brings unique strengths. Similarly, every community possesses distinct abilities that, when recognized and served, lead to educational success for our children.

During my tenure as a math teacher, I endeavored to instill a love for learning regardless of students' initial attitudes toward the subject. I learned to adapt to their needs, a skill I hope to apply on a broader scale as a member of the State School Board. As an administrator, I recognize the importance of feedback in fostering growth and intend to enhance the feedback process to facilitate continuous improvement in schools.
